The composers all applied to be part of the concert through a call for works which was sent out to the Konstmusiksystar members. The organisers chose the works through a lottery. This curatorial method has been frequently used for processes of selection by Konstmusiksystrar and was explored in-depth in the project I slumpens tjänst (In the service of chance). The concert was praised by the music critic Camilla Lundberg who wrote an enthusiastic review in Dagens Nyheter especially commending Konstmusiksystrar's curatorial approach.
